About The Author

Abbey is a forty-four year old mother of four and grandmother of two. She was born in England but now lives in Spain with her husband and ever-increasing family! There they operate a busy microlight flying school......souring high above the beautiful Spanish mountains, orange and lemon filled valleys and wide golden beaches.

Most of her adult life has been happily revolving around small children, both in caring for her own and in Pre-School Education.

Throughout those years she sought out as many well-written and engaging children's books as she could and read them to as many children as she could share them with.

Abbey's greatest loves are the people about her but her constant companion is always a good book, it can fill the sunny afternoons and sponge up the very few wet ones in Spain!

To pass on to a small child a love of literature would be her greatest pleasure. The characters in the books Abbey has written have been jumping about in her mind for years and years, waiting to be squashed between the pages of her books to make any small child laugh a little!
